Germany invaded Russia on 22 June 1941, an overambitious move that saw Germany biting off far more than it could chew. Things started well, as German units implemented their Blitzkrieg tactics against surprised, demoralized and retreating Soviet units. However, time and distance began to take their toll as German troops fought their way against stiffening Russian resistance across the vast steppes of Russia to the very gates of Moscow. It’s now 80 years since those battles took place, and Dragon has brought together a new 1/35 scale collection boasting some of Dragon’s most popular figure sets from that time period. There’s a useful variety of figures in these sets. They arrive in the first quarter of 2021, well in time for the 80th anniversary of the momentous invasion of Russia.
